About Nancy

We are Dick and Nancy Brooke, Realtors with Anchor Realty, and we’d like to tell you a little bit about ourselves. We began visiting Destin from our native Chicago in the mid-nineties and quickly grew to love the area with its emerald green water, sugar white sand beaches and fabulous 3-season weather. (What’s not to love?) We invested in our first Destin property in 1998 and began making plans for our eventual move to full-time residents. After vacationing here every chance we had since purchasing our first condo, we were finally able to call Destin "home" in 2007 and know we are fortunate to live in "paradise". Outside of work, we both enjoy golf, reading, sailing and kayaking, and have been involved with animal rescue organizations for many years.

As a husband and wife team, our individual skill sets complement each other, allow us to broaden our reach, dividing and conquering when necessary to produce the best overall results for our clients. Our commitment to service and integrity is matched only by our strong work ethic, and we are devoted to delivering the results you want and deserve.

Dick is a Vietnam Veteran and has over 30 years of sales and sales management experience in the high tech leasing industry. Nancy's 30 years in that same industry focused on contract management, sales plan management, commission accounting and system design.

We have long been passionate about real estate, buying and selling many properties over the years, both in our original suburban Chicago location and in our adopted home of Destin. We feel fortunate to have been able to turn our passion into our profession and are enjoying helping others realize their real estate dreams. I have dealt with selling and buying houses in the past, and by far the most dedicated real estate agent I have worked with is Nancy Brooke.  The situation she assisted me with was particularly complex and emotional, as it involved my father’s estate and houses that were underwater in mortgage.  It was further complicated by the fact that the houses are in Florida and I am in Colorado.  Nancy walked me through the short sale process and went above and beyond to get one of the houses sold.  She put in many hours untangling various complications with the estate attorney and the mortgage companies, as well as coordinating the real estate attorney and probate attorney in order to prepare for the sale.  She was an amazing help to me.  I am ready to put the other house on the market and there is no question that I will work with her and The Brooke Team to do so.  Nancy has been an invaluable resource and I recommend her and The Brooke Team without reservation.
